As the Senior Accountant for our accounting firm, you will direct and review the work of Staff Accountants and making decisions on most accounting, tax and auditing matters by performing the following duties:
• Complete audit and accounting research including knowledge of the reference sources available to the firm
• Ensure financial and compliance requirements of various types of audit engagements; know where and how to find the specifics of the requirements for individual industry segments
• Supervise training for staff accountants
• Plan, coordinate and supervise the various phases of an audit engagement
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years audit experience as a Staff Accountant in a public accounting firm coupled with a Bachelor’s or Master`s degree in Accounting or related field. Proficiency with MS Office including Excel and other accounting software. This motivated team player will possess interpersonal management and communication skills along with the flexibility and the ability to work independently.
