Sr. Financial Analyst – Federal Taxes
This position is responsible for federal income tax compliance for companies owned and operated by Eli Lilly and Company. This work includes financial accounting details for federal tax, annual return data gathering, computations and preparation, and quarterly estimated payment computations and preparation. It also includes assistance with Internal Revenue Service audit information requests and reviews, as well as serving as a key resource for strategic planning initiatives. All areas require strong business partnering skills and tax technical skills.
KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:
- Complete returns in accordance with critical path deadlines
- Act as liaison between Lilly and E&Y
- Support IRS audit process and strategic planning projects
- Quarterly taxable income and estimated payment responsibility
- Preparation of highly technical FAS 109 computations for financial statement accounting purposes
- Utilization of excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3-5 Years of Federal tax accounting experience
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Eli Lilly and Company does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES:
- CPA preferred
- SAP, Insource tax software a plus
- Highly motivated individual with strong tax accounting and tax technical skills

- Work hours have some flexibility
- Five day work schedule
