Staff Accountant Position – Houston, Texas

cPanel is currently looking for a motivated and experienced accountant to manage financial planning and reporting as well as prepare tax documents and coordinate with our outside accounting services.
Qualifications:
* US work eligibility
* Certified Public Accountant
* * Degree in Finance or Accounting
* Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
o Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
o Advanced knowledge of tax laws, tax document preparation, tax liability
* Very detail oriented and capable of following issues to completion
* Management experience
* Leadership and time management skills
Job Duties:
* Annual tax preparation for state, local and federal taxes.
* Prepares annual tax projections
*
* Manages and tracks employee spending
* Ensures proper bookkeeping and accounting operations:
o Supervises bookkeeper and Comptroller.
o Assists with bookkeeping when needed.
* Oversees and coordinates with outside accounting services:
o Ensures work and projects are progressing
o Audits bills and billing practices of outside accounting services
* Tracks and maintains company insurance policies
* Performs other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks from time to time, quite often on short notice
* Coordinating with management and other departments to share knowledge
